Correct Use of Color Blocks: Color Blocks are pure aniline dye in a wax base form. One block is enough to color 20 pounds of beeswax.
When not in use keep in original plastic bag. It is also good to store the Color blocks in a heavy duty container. Always trim your Color Blocks over a protective covering, such as newspaper, small stray chips can and will stain surrounding areas. We will not be held responsible for misuse of this product.When not in use Color Blocks should be returned to their plastic bag, and placed in their heavy duty holding container.
Color Blocks can be mixed to make new colors. For gem tones add Color Block to Ultra Clear Wax. For pastel tones add Color block to Super White Wax. Small amounts of the Pearl and Metallic Angel's Dust may be added to the Ultra Clear Mix.
After working on an egg with Color Block dyed wax, you may select one of the PysankyUSA Colorama dyes to finish the background of your egg.
To protect your wax and dye, several thin coats of a gloss spray, such as 'Krylon' may be used.
